304 Stainless Steel This type of Stainless Steel is environmental friendly. Type 304 Stainless Steel has a high resistance to rust. Type 304 Stainless Steel is a variation of the basic ζ18/8Ζ grade, Type 302, with higher chromium and lower carbon content. This lower carbon content minimises chromium carbide precipitation due to welding and itΖs susceptibility to intergranular corrosion. Type 304 Stainless Steel can be exposed continuously to a maximum temperature of 899?C (1650?F) without appreciable scaling. For intermittent exposure, the maximum temperature is around 816?C (1500?F). Types 304 Stainless Steel have very good drawability. Their combination of low yield strength and high elongation permits successful forming of complex shapes. Materials of Construction
All towel rails are constructed from 100% stainless steel including the brackets. The towel rail can be cleaned using any available stainless steel cleaning product, and polished with a soft cloth. Small scratches and marks can be removed using metal polishes.
